Unlock the Power of Movement for Young Minds

Are you an educator or allied health professional working with children aged 3–6 years?
Would you like to boost your impact and help young learners thrive—socially, emotionally, and academically?

Join us for an inspiring Online Workshop and discover how building strong gross motor skills—like balance, climbing, strength, and coordination—lays the essential foundation for fine motor development, classroom readiness, and social confidence.

Unfortunately, today’s sedentary lifestyles mean more and more children are falling behind in their motor development. This affects not only their academic success but also their self-esteem and ability to build friendships.

But there’s good news: Animal Fun can help.

Developed by a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists at Curtin University (WA), Animal Fun is a research-backed program designed to improve both motor and social skills in young children. Just one term of fun, animal-themed activities has been shown to make a significant difference.

Led by Sue McLaren, Research Coordinator and Director of Animal Fun, this practical, interactive workshop will give you the tools and confidence to implement the program in your setting—no special equipment or training required.
